Abstract: The EU beneficial ownership register leaves very little room for maneuver for those who prefer to maintain their privacy in present times. This article discusses the privacy element of the Hungarian Asset Management Foundation (AMF), analyzes the impact of the AMF law on the privacy of the participants in an AMF, and gives an insight into the workings of a hybrid structure when an AM acts as trustee.
