Claudia is the creator and founder of the Aliant Office in Italy. She is admitted to practice law both in Italy and in California, USA and for this reason, as well as for her fluency in the English language and knowledge of the US corporate culture, she often serves an international clientele and she is in the list of recommended attorneys of the US and Canada Embassies in Italy.

Claudia has a strong focus on cross-border matters including M&A, Commercial transactions and real estate deals. Her clients are mainly domestic, foreign and multinational companies,  and private individuals acquiring properties or investing in Italy.

She is also an expert with years of experience and a Ph.D. in European Community Law, in conflict-of-law cases, such as complex estate matters and divisions, cross-border matters, recognition and enforcement of foreign judgment within the European Union and even outside the EU.

She is also dedicated to making sure that her clients’ businesses, both clients operating domestically, and clients investing abroad, maintain compliance and is proceeding in the right direction. She counsels Boards of Directors, CEOs, and executive management teams in strategic business and legal issues.

In addition to her corporate law services, Claudia is a trained and registered mediator who – in the past- served with the Rome Office of a Certified Mediation Body and, as such, she has become very skilled in mediations proceedings.

In the Insurance area of law, where she helped several foreign companies to set up their business in Italy and comply with local regulations, she is currently a member of the Guarantee Board, a governmental body within the Italian Supervisory Board for Insurance Companies and Intermediaries (www.ivass.com), which examines disciplinary proceedings against insurance intermediaries and recommends the sanctions to be possibly inflicted.
