He began his legal career as a trainee lawyer at Bodnár Law Firm, representing both publicly owned entities and private enterprises. He later joined the National Bank of Hungary (Magyar Nemzeti Bank) as legal counsel, working in the Capital Markets and Market Supervision Directorate before serving in the Cabinet of the Deputy Governor responsible for Monetary Policy, where he gained extensive expertise in financial regulation, capital markets supervision, and central banking.
Between 2019 and 2026, Dr. Góbi led Góbi Law Firm, advising clients on corporate and commercial law, banking and financial law, credit institution workout and restructuring, real estate law, regulatory compliance, and trust and fiduciary asset management.
He has been actively involved in several professional organisations, including the Corporate Governance Section of the Hungarian Economic Association, the Association of Hungarian Financial and Economic Auditors, the Legal Committee of the Hungarian Yachting Association, and currently STEP Hungary (Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners Hungary).
