Gabriel Lizama Oliger is the Managing Partner of the Aliant office in Costa Rica. He has developed his professional experience in litigation, tax consulting, information technology and government contracts. He has over twenty years of professional experience as a lawyer.

He studied at the Universidad Autónoma de Centroamerica (UACA) the degree of Bachelor of Laws (1997). He completed the summer program of the School of Law, American University (USA) in agreement with the Universidad Diego Portales (Chile) in International Business Law The U.S. Legal System (1999). He completed his Masters studies in public law with a concentration in constitutional law at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile (2001). Also at the law school of the Universidad Nacional Andrés Bello (UNAB) initiated the first program of Law and the Internet. Course he deepened the impact of Internet and information technology in the law.

In 2003 returned to Costa Rica and was hired by the Chilean integrator Sonda, S.A. (IT Company) for the purchase and acquisition of local company Datadec, S.A. today Sonda Tecnologías de Información de Costa Rica, S.A. With the purchase of Costa Rican company had to take care of an international arbitration against the Supreme Court of Costa Rica. He advised the Chilean company Sonda, S.A. to apply for breach of contract and damages incurred attributable to the Supreme Court. For the benefit of the Chilean company historic reconciliation agreement was achieved. The lawyer, from 2003 to date, has specialized in serving corporate and institutional clients.

In the last twenty years he has advised major IT Costa Rica companies in development and integration of software and hardware contracts, IT contracts with the government and cloud computing.
