A life-long employment lawyer, Elisa provides assistance to national and multinational companies, including in company reorganization transactions with an impact on the personnel or company-employee/Unions conflictual situations. In the first years of her profession, she dedicated herself to represent workers in Court and this experience is still very useful when she provides assistance to companies in the management of human resources.

If you ask her what was the best compliment she received, Elisa recalls the time when a client she assisted on an ongoing basis said, “Elisa, you are one of us”. For her, this was the best recognition of having fully understood both the organization and the business needs, to the point of reassuring the client that all the legal strategies identified were the most appropriate for the specific context.

Elisa is enthusiastic about accompanying employers in the implementation of projects of “Corporate Social Responsibility”. Similarly, in her profession, she believes in what she calls
“Lawyers Social Responsibility” an approach to the legal profession that manages to combine the economic, environmental, and social expectations of all parties involved, without ever losing sight of the main objective of generating value for her clients.

With Aliant, she shares the view that a legal profession characterized by independence and flexibility ensures the best interest of the client. And so, Elisa likes to get straight to the point, without dogmatism or superfluous superstructures, but at the same time fully recognizing the value of sharing that only being part of an international firm can offer.

In her free time Elisa loves to be in the water, whether it be a swimming pool or a beautiful sea. She is fascinated by various countries in Southeast Asia, which she has loved to visit in recent years, but even a good contemporary dance show, just ten minutes away from her home, can provoke strong emotions in her: have you ever seen Akram Khan dancing in person?

EXPERIENCES

ADMISSION TO PRACTICE (Italy 1998)
Elisa is a employment lawyer with significant experience in providing judicial and extrajudicial assistance to domestic and foreign companies. Her assistance ranges from the establishment, management and termination of employment relationships, with particular focus on individual and collective dismissal procedures, as well as the management of the labour aspects of domestic and international transactions concerning the reorganization or the acquisition/sale of companies, including the procedures of information and consultation with trade unions. Her advice is particularly appreciated by executives of companies with offices in Italy who need to understand the complex system of domestic employment law, as well as to organize and manage personnel in accordance with Italian and European regulations. While from 1995, in the very first years of her profession, she dedicated herself to providing legal
assistance to workers, Elisa has subsequently completed her experience assisting initially Italian companies, collaborating since 1999 with a “boutique” of labour lawyers (Vesci e Associati) and, since 2002, both national and multinational companies, as a partner of a leading international Italian firm (Macchi di Cellere Gangemi).

For ten years she was the trusted lawyer of an important multinational company in the large-scale retail sector for legal assistance in all disputes brought by employees of the various local units in Rome, thus acquiring significant knowledge of the organization and business of that sector and, in general, of the tertiary and services sector. Given her experience in advising on legal issues related to personnel management, Elisa assists companies and corporate groups on an ongoing basis, in close contact with the human resources managers or managing directors of the client companies, also monitoring and providing updates in relation to new legislation or case law on the subject. Other areas of expertise are the protection of workers personal data in compliance with the GDPR, safety in the workplace, agency relationships, civil litigation and insolvency proceedings.

She has been a member of the Rome Bar Association since 1999. She has been a member of AIJA (Association International des Jeunes Avocats) and IBA
(International Bar Association).
