Dr. Monika Molnar, is a legal expert specializing in Swiss and international tax law, with a focus on indirect taxes including VAT, customs, and excise duties. She also covers commercial and contract law, maritime law, aviation law, and emerging areas like trading and blockchain. Her fluency in German, English, Hungarian, and Russian makes her a reliable advisor to international clients.

Dr. Molnar holds a law degree (JD) from the University of Szeged, Hungary, and completed her postgraduate Master of Law (LL.M.) at the University of Bern, specializing in tax law. She is also an accredited Incoterms 2010 trainer, recognized by ICC Germany e.V., and an accredited interpreter with the High Court of the Canton of Zurich.

Doctor Molnar’s professional experience spans leadership roles at major international consulting firms in Zurich and London, where she served as Deputy Director and International Knowledge Manager for Indirect Taxation. She also acted as Head of Group Legal Tax Compliance for a Swiss-Australian cruising industry group before founding her tax consulting firm, in Zurich in 2023. Additionally, she is a frequent lecturer, speaker, and correspondent for the International Bureau of Fiscal Documentation (IBFD).

She is a member of several professional organizations, including the International Bar Association (IBA), the International Fiscal Association (IFA), and the Court of Arbitration for Art under the Netherlands Arbitration Institute.
