With over 20 years of experience as Head Legal and General Counsel for leading natural resources companies and commodity traders, he has worked across various commodity sectors, including oil and gas, iron ore, manganese, bauxite, coal, copper, PGM, tungsten, and chrome. His expertise extends across key global markets, including Russia, CIS, Europe, Africa, Australia, and South America.

Mr. Erdin holds a Master of Law degree from the University of Zurich (1998) and an LLM in Banking and Finance Law from University College London (2003). He is admitted to the Zurich and Swiss Bar. His experience spans the entire mining value chain, from exploration to production, combining deep technical expertise with legal acumen to provide strategic counsel.

Over the course of his career, Mr. Erdin has represented high-net-worth individuals and trading companies, advising them on critical legal and financial matters. He also serves on the board of several mining companies, leveraging his extensive on-the-ground experience in developing mining projects from greenfield and brownfield stages to full production in Africa and South America.

Mr. Erdin began his career in the M&A and banking department of a renowned Zurich law firm before holding senior legal positions with UK-listed mining companies in London, Sierra Leone, and Zurich. His multilingual capabilities—fluent in German/Swiss German, English, Spanish, and Portuguese, with proficiency in French and Russian—enhance his ability to navigate complex international transactions.
